Pass to where they're going, not where they are!
What's in the Session?
In the first half of this advanced passing session we work on the speed and timing of the pass - ensuring that when your players don't pass too far in front or behind them, but directly into the path of the receiving player's run - only efficient and effective passing will do.
Strong pivoting, pump and pass faking are all techniques when executed right will get your players out of situations where there is pressure on the ball from the opposing team. The second part of the session will improve players creativity when passing the ball to a team-mate when surrounded by defenders.
Practice what you learn! Run a game at the end of session and watch your team become assist kings, as they implement the passing drills in a competitive game-like situation.
Create a resolution to develop your coaching confidence by seizing the opportunity to discover new drills, turn ideas into action and seek advice from the coaching community.
